Our Team

Interwest employs a wide range of specialist field personnel, including traffic control supervisors, truck drivers, carpenters, operators, cement masons, and laborers. Our full-time supervisors, project managers, and safety and health officials are experienced in the challenges of all types of construction and offer our employees constant support. Among the specialized workers Interwest has available to complete any job are pipe layers, mechanics, and welders.

Eben and Rhonda Twaddle, Owners

Eben is the CEO and founder of Interwest Construction. He actively engages in everyday activities, searching for resources and investigating growth-oriented strategic markets. During his tenure on the Board of Directors for the Skagit County Conservation District, Eben approved and certified conservation contracts and programs and helped create goals and regulations. His passion for building never wanes, and his obsession with quality penetrates every aspect of the business. Eben leads with honesty, fortitude, and attention to detail.

Rhonda works for the company as the director of business development and corporate secretary. She oversees the human resources department as well as the estimating administration. Rhonda is as passionate about resources and strategic market research for business expansion as her husband is. After working for Business and Facilities in the public school sector, she joined the company in 2007.

Roy Swihart, President, General Manager

Throughout Interwest Construction, Mr. Swihart is a key player in the implementation of procedures and practices. Developing strategy, enhancing performance, acquiring supplies and resources, and ensuring compliance are some of his responsibilities. He is in charge of our project management, IT, and finance departments.

Since starting his career with Interwest in 2001, he has taken on a variety of roles and developed alongside the organization. His knowledge of the industry enables him to interact with the departments he oversees in an efficient manner. Roy has worked as a construction worker in Northwest Washington State for more than 24 years.

Dana Orbe, P.E., Vice President, Chief Estimator

At Interwest, Mr. Orbe was in charge of starting and growing the Bridge & Structures Division. He has a unique viewpoint on building cooperative teams to establish fruitful project partnerships because of his extensive experience as a senior-level estimator in the planning and execution of major civil and structural construction projects.

Dana began working with Interwest in 2009, and in 2015 he was promoted to Vice President/Contracts Manager. He has worked in the construction industry for more than 25 years, designing and building large civil projects.

Robert (Bob) Reick, Vice President, Operations (Peninsula Division)

A significant part of the “Peninsula Division” is played by Mr. Reick. He is in charge of implementing policies and procedures to make daily operations more efficient. In 2014, he joined Interwest, which established the “Peninsula Division” with its headquarters now in Port Angeles, Washington.

Bob was appointed Vice President of Operations in 2018. He manages and supports all division workers and projects thanks to his solid leadership abilities and construction experience. He has worked on construction projects in the Port Angeles region for more than 25 years.

Brad Wyman, Vice President, Operations (Headquarters)

Since April 2010, Mr. Wyman has worked for Interwest Construction, Inc. He has overseen field projects ever since, serving as general civil superintendent and foreman. Brad was most recently appointed Vice President of Operations Headquarters.

At the executive level, he will be supervising and controlling the implementation of civil construction projects. Brad plays a key role in making sure that all field operations are carried out effectively, safely, and economically while also adhering to industry standards and corporate goals. He will oversee field workers, facilitate communication between divisions and departments, and promote operational excellence in our building projects.
